American rapper Ed Rowe and New Zealand producer Concept teamed up to bring to you album "Essenchill". Both artists released earlier a couple of indenpendent projects. Emcee raised in Atlanta dropped four collaborative longplays - "Launching Pad" with Jibber, "Intellectually Raw" with ThirdEyeFocused, "The Repertoire" with The Analog Bastard and "Collective Unconscious" with ARZA. Ed Rowe's new music partner, Concept, has been worked with American artists Mirage. They released three LP's - "Long Days & Long Nights", "Rejuvenation" and "Inner Pains". Also, beatmaker hailing from Auckland put 4 solo projects out ("Instrumentals Vol. 1-3" and "Impromptu Notes"). After all these releases it is a time for "Essenchill", which was released on August 3rd 2013.
Emerging from the haze of polluted sound waves comes a breath of fresh air: "Essenchill". Amidst a chilled collective of soulful, jazzy, boom-bap rhythms, flows vitally poignant lyricism, embodying perspectives on meditation, family, and overcoming life’s obstacles.
